Check your facts!

I want to take a very brief moment to encourage the body -

If you're going to vote on Tuesday, please, please, take some time to look up the issues, where the candidates stand, and use logic to determine what they might actually be able to accomplish.

I actually heard someone say yesterday that they believe that "white people will be forced into slavery" if Obama becomes president. I don't care how you vote, but please, be an informed voter and don't vote based on hearsay or false advertisements.
And that's all you'll hear from me on politics.

You can go to http://www.publius.org/
Once you are there you can check your polling location, if you are registered and my favorite feature you can print your ballot. I take my printed ballot with me every election. By having it in advance nothing surprises me when I arrive. I've already previewed my ballot and if I need to do some research on an issue or candidate I might have missed I have the opportunity. It's like a rough draft ballot.

Awesome! That's a great site. Thanks a lot! I was starting to get nervous because I didn't know where to go to vote... We move too much! :)
