Did you all catch it in today's reading?
Paul was telling Timothy to be tammim!
1 Tim 4:12 Let no one look down on your youthfulness, but rather in speech, conduct, love, faith and purity, show yourself an example of those who believe.
Timothy was a bit timid and a newer believer stepping into some BIG shoes! Just the same Paul acknowledged who he was and encouraged him to move in the power and grace of God
Recalling the frog who knew his purpose and gave glory to God in "doing" what he was purposed to do I can't help but wonder- What if we could all learn from the frog's example and be content and "do" what He has purposed us to do? Why do we struggle to accept that He made us in His image (big, small, leaders, followers, rich, poor)? Each of us are able to do all He created us to do NOW no matter where we are in our faith walk. Today I'm going to thank Him for making me ME and for bringing me this far. I will practice being tammim today! Ribbit!

When I was a child at day camp they tried to teach me about being tammim. Anyone know this one....
If I were a butterfly I'd thank you God that I could fly! and
If I were a fish in the sea I'd a wiggle my tail and a giggle with glee! and
I'd just thank you Father for making me ME!
Uh hun hun Oh!
You gave me a heart and you gave me a smile you gave us Jesus and you made me your child and I'd just thank you Father for making me ME!
Oh that is WAY COOL. Let us be encouraged by who we will be, but also rejoice in who we are right now!
Thank You Father, for making us as You've made us. May You be glorified in who we are now, AND in who we will be tomorrow.
And in all thing, teach us how to love...
